About the Seminar
Presented in Shreveport, Louisiana, a nationally recognized hub of research and innovation, this seminar series will expose scientists and innovators to the tools of entrepreneurship and successful commercialization. Expert presenters will provide information on a variety of topics for starting and succeeding in a science-based entrepreneurial endeavor, and will equip attendees with the knowledge of where to begin, where to look for further resources, and how to take that important first step.

This seminar is FREE to everyone. Please register by clicking on the Register tab at the top of the page. Lunch will be provided to the first 50 participants for each session.

The seminar will take place at the Margaret Place Properties Community Center located at 915 Margaret Place.

Parking
Free parking is available nearby. Please use the parking lot located at the corner of Warrington Place and Margaret Place. Signs will be posted directing everyone to the community center.
Shuttle Service for LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport Faculty, Staff & Students
iShuttle will provide a shuttle service for all LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport faculty, staff and students who want to attend the seminar. The shuttle will pick up at the 5 minute parking area outside the BRI entrance at approximately 11:30am. The shuttle will pick at Margaret Place Properties at approximately 1:20pm and return to LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport.
