Mr. Holoubek is a Shreveport native, Shreveport based, USPTO Registered Patent Attorney with the New England intellectual property law firm Davis & Bujold, PLLC. His practice focuses exclusively on federal intellectual property, and provides full-service intellectual property counseling and advocacy to businesses and individuals in the United States and around the world.  Mr. Holoubek is a former Chair of the Intellectual Property section of the New Hampshire Bar Association.  He is a frequent lecturer and author on issues concerning intellectual property matters, and has presented and published on Patent, Trademark, Copyright, and other intellectual property issues to legal and non-legal audiences around the country.  He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at LSUS, has presented a yearlong lecture series on business and legal aspects of Biomedical Innovation at LSU Health Science Center Shreveport, has conducted 18 monthly CLE classes (“IP for the GP”) for Shreveport area attorneys and judges focused on a wide variety of Intellectual Property Law topics applicable to general business and corporate practitioners.  Mr. Holoubek has worked with the La Start Up Prize since its inception to help innovative entrepreneurs strategically position themselves with regard to their intellectual property, and he is the founder and director of the Louisiana Patent Academy at LSUS.
